Yes, this is very pricey but having seen many friends really love Liquid Force's kiteboards, I figured that quality would hold up for these too. It certainly did, with sturdy, well built, comfortable binding shoes. With generous padding, these seem quite comfortable. These fit well for a 9 year old, and can be squeezed and laced down tighter to fit smaller fit. While the open toe design leaves a lot of room for growth. The bottom secured well to a wakeboard, and give peace of mind the equipment won't fail them. It will make for a fun summer activity for kids.
