Over the years I have had many flat tires - almost all of them out and away (like hundreds of miles) from any service, and many of them at very inconvenient times (like 3 ayem). I just WILL NOT have a car that does not have a spare tire, and new cars that have spare tires are becoming rare - which I guess is fine if you live in a city and don't venture very far. I was stunned a few years ago upon learning that most cars don't have a spare, any more, and are provided with "mobility kits" instead. Those are mostly useless, I think, as every single flat I've ever had in the 50 years I've been driving has not been reparable.I have not used the Modern Spare yet, and hope to never have to. But the tire is substantial, looks & feels very functional, comes equipped with the needed tools, and very importantly fits well in the car.And talking with them on the phone, they are nice and very responsive - my tire came without the anchor assembly for the tire, and it's been sent out promptly, - so no trouble but a phone call.
