Remove your factory bumper by unscrewing the (2) bolts on each side of the outer frame rail. Keep these bolts for reinstalling your new bumper. Step 2. Ensure all wiring is disconnected and remove your rear bumper. Step 3. Take off the trailer hook from the original car. Lift the rear bumper and install it into your vehicle using the provided Split Lock Washer (D12), Flat Washer (M12302), and Hex Nuts (M12). (Package Included) Step 4. First of all, I got this bumper cuz I liked the looks of it, the built in steps in the corners. The instructions SUCKED! Besides not really having any step by step, not that I needed it, I mean installation is so straight forward, but one of the steps actually says remove old bumper, discard, but save the bolts as they will be needed for the new bumper. So who says to discard the old bumper in their instructions? THEN the original nuts dont even fit on the bolts on the new bumper, and the nuts they give dont even fit on the bolts. Luckily I have a full toolbox drawer of nuts and bolts so I found six to fit. Had to cut the factory trailer hitch some but no big deal. The trailer electrical plug from the factory bumper doesnt fit in the hole, I had to grind the hole bigger, and the hole is cut upside down, so now the plug is installed upside down. The coating was chipping and peeling off in a few locations right out of the box, but a few sprays of truck bedliner spray and that was fixed. Over all its a nice bumper, but the quality and manufacturing and inclusion of the correct parts leave a lot to be desired.
